  • How do I pick a doctor?

    You can pick from our list of doctors or one will be assigned to you. Keep in mind that you may change your primary care provider at any time.

  • Do I have to receive Immunizations?

    At PCHS, we believe in the importance of immunizations to protect individual and community health. However, we also respect your personal choices. Whether you choose to vaccinate or not, we are here to provide you and your family with high-quality, compassionate care.

  • Primary Care Health Services is an Evidence Based Practice.

    Primary Care Health Services follows the guideline recommendations of the CDC which is a health promotion, prevention, and preparedness agency as well at the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, which is an independent, volunteer panel of national experts in disease prevention and evidence-based medicine.

  • When should I arrive for my appointment?

    On the day of your first appointment, arrive 20 minutes early so that you can complete the registration process.

  • What is the Sliding Fee Program?

    The Sliding Fee Program offers a reduction or discount on all health care services except prescription drugs and is based on household income and family size. Patients may qualify to only pay 25, 50, or 75 percent of the cost for their health care services.

  • How does your Pharmacy work?

    You are able to walk-in services or can deliver prescriptions at no charge to any of our nine health centers in Allegheny County

  • What does your Dental Department do?

    We provides all phases of general dental health services for infants, teens and adults.
